  • Must be enrolled in a full-time course registered on CRICOS (Commonwealth Register of Institutions and Courses for Overseas Students).
  • Must prove that studying in Australia is the primary reason for the visa application.
    • By enrolling in a CRICOS-registered course, you demonstrate that your intent is to study and that you are a genuine student.

Must show sufficient funds to cover living costs, tuition, and travel.

Must hold Overseas Student Health Cover (OSHC) unless exempt.

  • Must be 6 years or older to apply.
    • This ensures that only applicants of an appropriate age are considered for the visa.

You must meet health and character criteria, including having no criminal record and satisfying Australian health standards.

Must provide evidence of English proficiency or meet exemption criteria.

Must have adequate welfare arrangements if the applicant is under 18.
