Administrative Review Tribunal (ART)

The Administrative Review Tribunal (ART) is an independent authority that assesses decisions made by the Australian Government, including those related to visas by the Department of Home Affairs. While the ART has the power to review most visa applications, there are exceptions. Unlike the Department of Home Affairs, the ART is not bound by the initial decision. It carefully reviews each case based on its merits, providing a fair and unbiased evaluation. The tribunal takes into account all relevant evidence and circumstances to determine if the original decision was appropriate.
